The three types of Truck Bed cover

Truck Bed covers are often defined Tonneau covers. "Tonneau" is French for "cover" and since 1970 has been used to describe the cover that goes over the bed of the truck. This coverage is used to protect the contents of read by wind and rain and to protect it from thieves. But the benefits not only stop there. Can improve the look of your truck and improve dragging on your vehicle, saving you gas.

When it was discovered the bed truck pulls air downwards which is poor in aerodynamics and means that when traveling at high speed there will be a lot of drag on your truck. The noise associated with this drop can be very strong. Covering your bed, a truck bed cover can reduce drag and noise associated with means that your truck will consume less gas when you're on a long journey composed of high speed like on a motorway or expressway.

Bed covers are in three different types of trucks.

Rigid trucks Covers are made from fiberglass, plastic or aluminum. These types of roofs are typically smooth and are colored the same as the truck itself. Most are hinged that you just need to raise one end to get access to everything that is in the tray. These are the most expensive types of roofing.

Paperbacks trucks consist of hardened tissue as material and have bows to retain their shape under the snow and water. They attach to the tray truck with POPs, Velcro or a system of groove and tongue. Some can be rolled up or others are models of hinged lid.

Retractable Roofs are a popular choice. When you need to access the tray they bring back inside a metal box that is located on the back of the truck.
